The singer popped the question to model-actress Jonna Walsh at Disney World in Orlando.Lee DeWyze is ready to walk down the aisle.
The winner of American Idol's ninth season is engaged to model-actress Jonna Walsh. He told People that he proposed July 16 on a private yacht as fireworks from Orlando's Disney World went off overheard.
"Jonna is a Disney freak," he says. "They were playing love songs on the boat, and I got down on my knee and asked her. I had a speech prepared but it all went out the window so I just asked her. She started crying and I said, 'Is that a yes?'"

The two have been dating since October, when they met while shooting a video for his single "Sweet Serendipity."
"When you know, you know," he said of their eight-month courtship. "We both feel that way. We don't need to be together 20 years before we figure it out."
They are planning a wedding for fall 2012.

DeWyze was crowned Idol champ in 2010. His first post-Idol album, Live It Up, was released in November.
Walsh's credits include guest-starring roles on the TV shows No Ordinary Family and CSI: NY and an appearance in the movie Couples Retreat.
