‘The View’ cohost marries TV writer Lamar Sally on Saturday in Chicago.Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar will have a lot to talk about next week on ABC's The View. Following Behar’s surprise wedding to her boyfriend of 29 years on Thursday, Shepherd tied the knot with her fiancé, Lamar Sally, at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago—Shepherd’s hometown.
While Behar did not attend (her twitter merely says “Gone fishing.” in regards to her honeymoon plans), their View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck was one of Shepherd’s eight bridesmaids. Other bridesmaids include Dancing With the Stars contestant Niecy Nash and Community’s Yvette Nicole Brown. Sheperd’s six-year-old son, Jeffrey, walked her down the aisle.
The Style Network is planning to broadcast the event on September 13 and will show a behind-the-scenes look in Wedding Fabulous: Sherri Shepherd Gets Married.
Shepherd and Sally announced their engagement in December. They were introduced by Jay Tucker, who just got married himself to Shepherd’s bridesmaid, Nash, this past May.
