The 68-year-old was crossing the street in Beverly Hills on Friday when he was hit.Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, Frederic von Anhalt, was hospitalized on Friday after getting hit by a car, Reuters reports.
Von Anhalt was crossing the street to a bank in Beverly Hills when a car drove out from an underground parking garage and hit him.
He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for cuts to his hip and hand, von Anhalt’s spokesperson told Reuters.
But it could have been worse. Doctors were trying to see whether von Anhalt had broken his leg on Friday.
The driver responsible was arrested by police in Beverly Hills, but von Anhalt said that he did not want to press charges.
The 94-year-old Gabor, who is in ill health, had part of leg amputated in January.
Last month, von Anhalt threw an anniversary party, which counted Quincy Jones, Phyllis Diller, Robert Blake and Frank Stallone as some of the guests at the soiree.
