Newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were honored at in New York on Wednesday night at an event hosted by wedding planner Colin Cowie and Niche Media Holdings founder Jason Binn.

The couple, who wed Aug. 20 at a private estate in Montecito, Calif., were the guests of honor at the "Night of Style and Glamour" soiree held at Capitale, intended to celebrate her move to New York.
Among the attendees were Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick; Paul Schaeffer; Lance Bass; Ramona Singer, Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen from Real Housewives of New York; and Tinsley Mortimer.

During the event, a violinist dressed in black lingerie played along with a DJ.
When Kardashian and Humphries arrived, the DJ played Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' "Empire State of Mind," and the duo later cut into a black-and-white cake that read, "Welcome to NYC Kim & Kris."
In fact, the event's color scheme was black and white, in a nod to the couple's nuptials.

The event was recorded by camera crews likely from E! Entertainment, which airs Keeping Up With the Kardashians and spinoffs including Kourtney & Kim Take New York.
