The country singer married married her longtime partner on Saturday.Country singer Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer show off their dazzling wedding gowns in a photo Blitzer posted on Twitter.
"The Blitzer-wrights," captioned Blitzer of the pic, in which the new spouses embrace in flowing, ivory dresses.
The couple married with a reverend and a rabbi in front of 200 guests at a private home in Connecticut on Saturday. They served guests barbecue from New York's Blue Smoke, People.com reports.
They declined to wear veils because "We like our hair too much!" joked Wright.
The Academy of Country Music and a Country Music award winner discussed her sexuality on the Today show in May 2010. She wrote about it in her memoir, Like Me.
