Sarah Jessica Parker is reportedly out as president and chief creative officer of Halston Heritage, the Halston sister label she started with a year and a half ago, according to U.K. newspaper The Telegraph.

She's not the first actress to be involved with a fashion company – Lindsay Lohan had a stint at Ungaro which didn’t last long, after bad reviews of her runway show. But in Sarah Jessica Parker's case, she did add much to the junior line, particularly Sex and the City fashion caché — and of course, appearing in it at many public appearances.
THR hears she and Halston owner Harvey Weinstein (since 2007) didn't see exactly eye to eye on creative decisions. Parker refers to her split with Halston Heritage in her cover story of the August issue of American Vogue, which is out next week.

So far, neither Weinstein nor Parker is saying exactly why. Meanwhile, let’s not shed a tear for SJP: Forbes reports she made 30 million dollars last year, mostly on Sex and the City re-runs.
