Coca-Cola Celebrates 125th Birthday in Parisian Style

The soft drinks company partnered with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for a special collection in honor of the brand’s anniversary.

PARIS - The Coca-Cola Company celebrated its 125th birthday in style with Parisian fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac at a swank soirée in Paris on Thursday night.

The soft drinks company has partnered with Castelbajac for a special JC/DC collection in honor of the brand’s anniversary.

As Paris Fashion Week kicked off in the capital, stars including DIta Von Teese and designer Ora Ito headed to hotspot le Trianon to dance to musical performances from Trentmoller, Tomorrow’s World, Busy P and Breakbot.

The JC/DC Coca-Cola collection features a fashion line ranging from a centerpiece silver-sequined Coca-Cola dress to a t-shirt with a young Elvis Presley photographed by Alfred Wertheimer. “I fell in love with Coca-Cola at first sight! I was 16, and it was the only bottle who had the waist of a girl," Jean-Charles de Castelbajac said of the collaboration with the famous soft drink brand.

MTV Video Music Awards: Lady Gaga's Evolving Style

The singer may only have only come onto the MTV scene a few years ago, but the singer's debuted enough looks for 10 artists.

Lady Gaga is known as much for her reign over pop music as she is for her risky and statement-making fashion choices. 

And, her relationship with MTV, a network known for its love of shock-value, has made for some seriously game-changing fashion moments. 

Before this Sunday's 2011 Video Music Awards, at which the singer is sure to throw out all the fashion stops, The Hollywood Reporter highlights Gaga's most jaw-dropping outfits from her past two appearances.

True Blood's Dark, Sexy New Style (Photos)

In an exclusive THR interview, costume designer Audrey Fisher spills the beans on Bill Compton, Vampire Eric and Pam's hot vampire looks — and where to get them

HBO's True Blood is undergoing a chic style transformation this year. Now in the midst of Season 4, the Southern vampire thriller has already seen Bill Compton become the King of Louisiana, while Vampire Eric's memory has been erased and sizzling vampire Pam has been cursed with a flesh-rotting spell.

As the character's plot arcs have progressed, their costumes have evolved in tandem. As True Blood costume designer Audrey Fisher tells The Hollywood Reporter, Bill Compton (played by Stephen Moyer) is dressing more formally since getting his royal title, while the goth-influenced wardrobes of Pam (Kristin Bauer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) have reached sexy and edgy new heights.

Here, Fisher tells how she links each character's looks to specific scenes and gives the goods on the labels the vampires wear, from more mainstream ones like Joseph Abboud and Bebe to avant-garde discoveries like Skingraft, Amanda Lew Kee and Germany's Blessed & Cursed.

Her most exciting find? A pendant necklace and earrings molded from real scorpion stingers.

But there's one big no-no on set: even if something is made from silver, that bane of vampires, don't dare say so. "We always say it's platinum or white gold," says Fisher.

Power Shopping: Willow Bay Talks Style

The Huffington Post senior editor reveals her favorite designers and fashion essentials.

Journalist Willow Bay can pull off the red carpet better than many starlets in town. No stranger to the world of fashion—Bay is a former Ford model—she often opts for classic, feminine styles while out on the town. The LA-based senior editor of The Huffington Post and special correspondent for Bloomberg Television is married to Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger. Together, they have two sons Max and Will.

Talking to THR, Bay answers some fashion questions and names her favorite designers:
THR: Who have you been wearing recently?
WB: Juan Carlos Obando.  His clothes are exquisitely made. And he is gracious and charming. I never pass up a visit to his atelier. I wore his dresses to the Oscars and the Globes this year. Michael Kors for basics. Prada dresses- they get recycled and re-worn for years. And Monique Lhuillier. I love that her clothes are all made here in LA. I wore her white one-shoulder dress with gold beading to the White House State dinner, and yes it was a repeat. I wore it for the first time to last year’s Oscars.
THR: Where have you been shopping recently?
WB: Perrin Paris. I have gotten hooked on their sleek clutches. The Martha clutch is the name, it has slots for two phones. I gave one to Arianna [Huffington] too.
THR: What's in your purse?
WB: Too much stuff!
THR: What are your travel must-haves?
WB: Pashminas to wrap up in on the plane. I used to travel with one for my boys too when they were little. Even though they are big kids now they still turn to me for a shawl on the overnight flights.
