Ellen DeGeneres

But seriously, I think overall in the scheme of things winning an Emmy is not important. Let's get our priorities straight. I think we all know what's really important in life - winning an Oscar.
Ellen DeGeneres

I ask people why they have deer heads on their walls. They always say because it's such a beautiful animal. There you go. I think my mother is attractive, but I have photographs of her.
Ellen DeGeneres

I think they should have a Barbie with a buzz cut.
Ellen DeGeneres

I was coming home from kindergarten - well they told me it was kindergarten. I found out later I had been working in a factory for ten years. It's good for a kid to know how to make gloves.
Ellen DeGeneres

I was raised around heterosexuals, as all heterosexuals are, that's where us gay people come from... you heterosexuals.
Ellen DeGeneres

I'm on the patch right now. Where it releases small dosages of approval until I no longer crave it, and then I'm gonna rip it off.
Ellen DeGeneres

In the beginning there was nothing. God said, 'Let there be light!' And there was light. There was still nothing, but you could see it a whole lot better.

Ellen DeGeneres

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the hell she is.

Jan 17, Transfigure Me to Child - Visitor's Poem

by Shisir Pokahrel
(Kathmandu, Nepal)

I want to be a child
Who don't care a cent for life
And try to dare all the fear of the life
I want to think like a child
I want to act like a child
Whose life is fine! Fine as wine?

You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For them they have their own thoughts.
They are like the arrow which is released from the bow
And don?t know where to go.
That unhappy childhood's terror
So easy to repair.
They had freedom to run, fall, and climb big trees
Soaking wet socks, over their knees.
Those moments were like heaven on earth.
Where nothing is expensive, at no cost.

When I was little
I knew nothing of the world,
I dreamed of butterflies and birds
Now I am grown up.
I feel like autumn after the spring.
I feel like scarecrow who is tired of standing in his lonely field.
I measure every grief I meet
With questioning eyes;
I wonder if it weighs like mine,
Or has an easier size.
I pray to the god for transfiguring me back.
Giving back my childhood
Where I used live for my own good.

Jan 17, Desire - Visitor's Poem

by Micah Danielle Hetrick
(South Bend, IN, USA)

There are places you have yet gone,
Feelings yet to let go,
Release yourself and feel those unknown desires,
You live by lessons learned,
What's life without the
Journey of love.
Letting go of the past hurt to feel again
is the first step to finding yourself.
Desire the dream that was once
said to be the impossible.
And you will find the one worth searching for.
Your North Star who is always constant.

A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.
Denis Waitley

A life lived with integrity - even if it lacks the trappings of fame and fortune is a shinning star in whose light others may follow in the years to come.
Denis Waitley

A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside.
Denis Waitley

As long as we are persistence in our pursuit of our deepest destiny, we will continue to grow. We cannot choose the day or time when we will fully bloom. It happens in its own time.
Denis Waitley

Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. Failure is something we can avoid only by saying nothing, doing nothing, and being nothing.
Denis Waitley

Forget about the consequences of failure. Failure is only a temporary change in direction to set you straight for your next success.
Denis Waitley

Get excited and enthusiastic about you own dream. This excitement is like a forest fire - you can smell it, taste it, and see it from a mile away.
Denis Waitley

Goals provide the energy source that powers our lives. One of the best ways we can get the most from the energy we have is to focus it. That is what goals can do for us; concentrate our energy.
Denis Waitley

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.
